To support their alma mater's research and open-source education, the Nexus AI4S founding team has decided to donate the brand name, Logo, VI system, the official domain nexusai4s.org.cn and all related intangible assets, 100% free of charge, to the Tianjin University of Technology Education Development Foundation.
After the transfer, the community will continue to operate as an independent, open-source, industry-academia co-governed entity. All code remains Apache 2.0 forever. The Foundation, as trustee, only holds the assets and supervises brand use — it does not participate in day-to-day technical decisions.
This decision is a major practice of open-source spirit and industry-academia collaboration, and a key step toward the community's "non-profit, sustainable operation" goal.
